About collecting all cards achievement....

If I mod away some cards before I have all the cards (meaning in card collection that particular card has a 0 counter), when I reach the end, would I still get the collect all cards achievement? Or do I have to have at least 1 of every card to get that achievement?

You need to have all the cards together at one point in order to get the achievement. At least 1 of each. Getting the gold star for getting them all won't get you the achievement. (Need to be holding 1 of every card to get it.) You can get back any rare cards you missed or modded in Disc 4.

Darn. Which means I'm gonna have to play random at the end with all the lousy cards still in my collection.

to get all the card u need to do the CC Group quest in balamb garden, after that when you get ragnarok you'll find inside all the members, they own ALL the card included the ones you modded

Atleast you dont the rules; "plus", "random", "same" and "all" as your game rules >>; its a nightmare to play with those rules

If you don't get the cards from Queen of Cards, the ones you get from losing certain cards to her, she'll have them in Disc 4. But she'll have the, Random, Same/Plus, etc. rules all set up which makes it a pain to get them. You can't change her rules either. So unless you want to have to soft-reset a bunch in order to get those, try to get them earlier on. (Even if you don't unlock those cards or missed some, she'll have them all. It'll just be harder to get them.)

U don't even need to go through the queen of cards quest. U can get ALL the cards, even those u need to sacrifice to queen of cards, from the twin sisters or the 2 chicks (heart if im not wrong) in ragnarok on disc 4. And one word of advice, the easiest way of countering the random rule, would be to mod all the useless ones first.

I did not see the cards I missed from the Queen of Cards on Diamond at all. The cards gotten from Diamond show up in the order of how they are listed on the Card screen. You can only get the cards gotten from sacrificing others to the Queen of Cards if you unlocked them first. If you have yet to unlock them, then they won't show up on the Diamond twins. (I missed unlocking a couple of the cards and the Diamond twins did not have them at all. Or else they would have shown up before some of the other cards due to the order they are in.)

Remember that you need PuPu from the UFO sidequest regardless; The CC Group does not give you that card.

Nah, u can get all the cards from the twins on disc 4 in ragnarok. I've done it several times. And yeah, the only exception is PuPu card. Thanks for the reminder :D
