What's the maximum gil?
I'm doing all the achievements, but this maximum gil seems weird to me.
What exactly is the max value?

I've been using the trick of Tent+Cottage => Mega-Potion to get lots of gil, now at exactly "10 712 375 g", and I'm tired of it.

If someone knows the exact max gil value, do tell please.

yes, he right i just broke 10 mil expecting it to be at 9,999,999, but it wasn't the max :(

Not as painful as the 10k kill achievement. Seriously, who came up with this? Currently i am running around in the castle and killed my 1k enemy for no reason. That means i have to play the game 10-12 times for that achievement? Thats just ridiculous! :s

Is 99,999,999 enough to max the five stats available by refining at esthar on all 6 characters?

F1 - Fast Speed
F2 - Battle assistance
F3 - Max gill
F4/F5 - Boost Mode

Yeah, deliberately not using those, with the possible exception of fast speed. They make the game pointless.

To be fair, aren't those achievements kind of pointless? Isn't it more fun to just enjoy the game for what it is? Find the secrets, immerse yourself in the story, all that jazz?

2nd playthrough of ffvii I maxed all stats. I've reached the ending of ffviii fifteen years ago. I'm setting a challenge for myself of having all party members maxed out on stats without cheating.

It's not as bad as you'd think.

actually it's bad. It is still 80 hours of useless grinding if you rush things out
