I like Zell and Selphie alot, but not how they look. Quistis is meh in all regards in my eyes.
Renzokuken/Lionheart wipes the floor with most bosses, and Zell can do just as much damage when you "exploit" his limit break by pausing between inputs.
Irvine also deals more damage than the other characters mentioned below combined with his Shot limit breaks, and has a lot of utility and potential to do close to the same damage as Squall and Zell.
Rinoa starts out useful before becoming a sorceress, but then becomes a total waste of space.
Selphie has some useful and unique spells with her reels, but it's a really dull limit break, and The End is pretty game breaking.
Quistis is useful when you're not dealing 9,999 per hit, but after that, her limit breaks become obsolete since few or none of them are multi-hit.
Squall, Zell, Selphie (last boss) (Selphie's The End, the other two are just for the show )
