As for audio, the music is not very good for the PC version. You'll have to either replace the default files with the music files I converted directly from the PS1 data or use RaW mod which will give you some additional options for music replacement. It takes minimal effort to get the music quality as good as the PS1 version.
Keyboard is certainly viable for playing this game considering it's a menu selection JRPG. If you don't mind doing some extra work for replacing the music and want the best looking experience then PC is the way to go.
if you liked the music, and the base game, and could live without chocobo world's mini game, then PSN.
(If you also like achievements, then PC again because there's no trophie list.)
So no, this is better.
