What is "R Trigger" and/or how can I set it?

I'm finding the controls on this really weird. I tried using my Xbox 360 controller with one of those wireless receivers (which I've used many times with other games) and for some reason it's not connecting to FF8, so I'm stuck using the keyboard.

Anyway, in the settings, there isn't a direct keybinding map (that I can find) and I can't figure out how to use RT for things like Squall's Renzozuken and regular attacks to "trigger" his bonus damage. Anyone know what this is set to by default, or how I can figure out where to set the keybind? The "configure" menu in game is like trying to crack Navajo code...

cancel = button 4 or Y or Triangle
menu = button 2 or B or Circle
up
left
right
down
toggle display = button 7 or select
card game= button 3 or X or Square
Rotation left = button 5 or Left bumper or L1
Rotation right = button 6 or right bumper or R1
Switch POV button 10 or R3
escape battle = button 9 + 10 or L3 + R3
Pause = Button 8 or start

the "Trigger" would be right bumper if i remember correctly

yup just tried it.. its right bumper / R1 / button 6 / Rotation right in the config

That worked, thanks. It was just tricky figuring out the config screen, but I got it with some trial and error.
