Achievments count with Hyne?

Hey FF8 Fanboys over there!

Just playing a Gamethrough and trying to get 100% or lets say 99% because i will make a new game for the achievment "end the game with squalls start level."

Well while im doing this all is fine but one single Thing completly f. me up - The random hand rule vs. Deling to get the Rinoa card and im not patient enough to run around for like 3-4 hours just to change the rules and hope that the rule "may" be removed from the queen..

So i googled about the "hyne savegame editor" wich can basically add each item/magic or card to your inventory etc.

But do i get the Achievment , for example for all cards, if i "cheat" the Rinoa card? Does it count as that i got the rinoa card?

anyone have experienece with that?

Yeah, Hyne won't break anything unless you somehow skip over an achievement trigger.

You know by the way if i get the Achievment if i just save in front of ultemcia und bump my squall down to lv7 (start level) via Hyne? (Play game through with squalls start level)

I don't see why that wouldn't work. Pretty sure the trigger is just a level check when Ultimecia dies.

I can't recommend anyone get the 10,000 kills achievement. That'd be a good one to not do properly, unless you like the game so much you're going to replay it continuously. But as someone who wanted to get everything in one run, grinding 1,000 kills doing a minimum level run meant beating the game then grinding... Then that x10, not fun.

Because once you use these kind of things the games become boring :D
