Has anyone tried using the Junction VIII mod manager that recently came out?
So i was trying out the new mod manager, but when i plays the game, it has pretty bad stutter on steam deck.

here is the github where i got the install for steam deck. https://github.com/dotaxis/8thDeck

Here is there official site. https://www.tsunamods.com/junction-viii/

They also helped with the final fantasy VII mod manager.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried.

Have you overclocked or undervolted your deck and are you using the default TDP and GPU clock speeds? Stuttering doesn't sound like an issue directly related to using mods.

Hi, are you using Hit-J? If so disable and see if the stuttering continues. Hit-J still has some issues. :)

Thanks both for the reply.
I’m currently still using stock settings.

I don’t think I’m using Hit-j. I only have tsunamods Poly-up mod on.

I know that the junction VIII mod manager is still new so I’m just assuming it will have those early adopter issues.
I can't even get the manager to sync up with the game. It crashes every time on startup. I followed the same process as the 7th Heaven mod manager, just with the FFVIII files for FFnx. I also made sure to use the older version of FFVIII on Steam, since the manager doesn't work with the remaster. All paths also seem to be in order. For whatever reason though, the game just refuses to run. I can't tell if I just missed a step somewhere, or if this is just a side effect of the manager being new, and untested.
