Better to junction multiple GFs or just stick with one?
Just started the game. I know that pairing more than one GF to a character splits the EXP gain but each gets the same amount of AP. Is it better to junction all of the GFs so that they all gain AP, or just work on one at a time so I can maximize their EXP gain?

I found that assigning multiple GFS in balance to each of your party members help wtih the game, to be honest its all down to personal prefference and gaming style

With your main 3 party members. Make sure Quezacotl, Shiva, Ifrit are all junctioned seperately. Later on you'll be able to use Amnesia Greens to customize your GF's. You don't have to do that, that's just my personal style. But to answer your thread, it's probably better to junction numerous GF's to each of your party members that you're using.

Distribute your GFs so your characters get maximum use of them. Compensate the lack of certain abilities on one GF with abilities from another (once you have enough to split them among everyone). That should be your main focus.

Be aware before using amnesia greens that some G.F. have unique character abilites which increase some stats permantently.
Junction them before leveling up for the respective chars to receive that permanent bonus:

Ability ------------ AP ------------- G.F. ---------Requirement -----------Description

HP Bonus------100------Brothers, Cactuar-----HP+80%----+30 Bonus to HP at level up.
Str Bonus------100------Ifrit, Cactuar-------------Str+40%-----+1 Bonus to Str at level up.
Vit Bonus------100-------Carbuncle, Cactuar--Vit+40%-----+1 Bonus to Vit at level up.
Mag Bonus----100-------Siren, Cactuar --------Mag+40%---+1 Bonus to Mag at level up.
Spr Bonus------100------Leviathan, Cactuar----Spr+40%---+1 Bonus to Spr at level up.

Also junction them in the way it fits best for the chars you want to upgrade in the respective way ;)

Leveling up is in most cases a mistake in this game. The enemies level is equal to your's team average level. So if you don't level up, enemies won't level up as well. Also, late in the game you can get a lot of bonus stats during leveling. So my advice is - finish every fight with a ability Card. Turning your enemies into cards shields you from gaining experience. But you still get AP. So your GF-s are getting stronger, you can get more advanced magic for junction, and every fight is getting only easier. So junction all of them to anyone, and do not level up at all, even if you don't want to get "Contrived Finish" achievement. It is the easiest way to finish the game.

Really? So you want it ez mode so bad dont you? Why not fight Ultemicia at level 30 guys. Yeah right

Honestly, I have always junctioned all GF's spread out amongst my 3 main party members. If I need to have seperate parties(Galbadian Missile Base, and Garden after missles launched), I switch junctions between the 3 members across the board. IF I am leveling up a chracter I switch the junction to the new chracter which moves voer all magic and such junctioned.) Keeping all GF's junctioned to your main 3 party members levels them up, gets abilities for other chracters and allows for multiple junction abilites to be learned at once. Also once you get high enough level, with the proper junctions you can farm the level 100 islands(Closest to Heaven/Hell, and these islands avoid that squalls level trick MSMW is referencing) Your GFs will gain around a level and a half a fight, plus 20-30 AP a fight.

I always level my party to Level 100 on Disc 1. Even at LV100 enemies are not difficult.

just play cards....mod abyss worms to windmills....use t mag refine to refine them to tornados ....junction to squalls strength with infrits str +20 and 40 and then squall will be doing 1500 dmg before dollet....juntion something to make his hp yellow at 800 or so and you can constantly do renzokuken and you can beat xtom8095 or whatever and get 400 ap and become even more powerful....best ff imo i love being overpowered and love the story

Junctioning 100x Flare (you draw from Level 30+ Diablos) to your strength stat along with Str+40% can easily boost you to over 200.
