Triple Triad

Noob question: I'm doing my first run through of FF8 and I want to play triple triad. When can I actually start playing the game? Do i need to do the SeeD exam first? It won't give me the option to duel...

I think you can play right after getting cards from that guy outside your dorm. Just go up to people and press X. I use the 360 controller but if you look at your controls there should be 2 for talking to people. The card challenge option should be the second one.

Cheers guys. Yeah it wasn't giving me the option even after picking up the deck and farming cards, I'll have another look later if there's a control I missed :)

Remember that not everyone you talk to plays cards. And if you're using the keyboard, the default key is S.

Yeah S works. NPCs started asking when I did SeeD :) And Degenerator is mine :D
