Different character Levels?
I know, in FFVIII it is not important to have a high level with any character.

Now i have a strange situation. I have one very high Level character (Squall, 85) But mostly, the characters are around Level 20-40. This means. Squall does strikes for 7000-9000. Xell for example hits only for 400...

What i shall do now? Leveling up all the Team, or not? I know Enemies stats depend on the Character Level. But who's level counting? My highest or the lowest character Level?

Do you use the Junction system?

Assigning correct spells to correct slots gives a nice stat boost for your characters, so playing with that should help shorten the gap between your characters. In a sense you are right that high level characters aren't as important here, though, but as long as you don't neglect your GFs growth as they are the ones that makes stat-boosts-via-magic possible (Junction system).

"But who's level counting?" only squalls level counting. dont level squall. buy weapon upgrades and use junction for the 3 chars in your team. with g.f. junction and enough spells (100x) you can bring a level 8 char to deal over 1000dmg.

Enemy levels are based on the average of your party's levels +/- 20%. So if the average level is 40 for example, enemies will be level 32 or 48.

Thanks. That's what i've learned today. Giving Squall Lowies as members reducres Enemies Max-HP a lot. :-)
