Zero on the Judgement Test- help?

Okay. So I did the Judgement test for 10 minutes and I beat Ifrit right before it went down to zero. Yay me, right?

Afterwards I found out out that I got zero points for Judgement with my Initial Seed rank.

What happened?

Do I need to finish (ie, punch in and accept Ifrit's name) before the timer passes zero or else I automatically fail at Judgement?

(Basically, I beat Ifrit at like 3 seconds, then it went past zero long before I punched in Ifrit's name)

To those who aced it, what did you do?

I'm not sure what you meant in your post, but if you meant you defeated Ifrit at 3 seconds left, then you're out of luck. You'll be in the 'safe zone' when you leave the screen where you would see exp, AP and items gained and enter the naming screen for Ifrit. What you could do to get the max score for Judgement, is keep track of how much time you have left, just beat Ifrit and wait on the naming screen and look at a clock to see when the timer should've reached 0. That way you should get max Judgement score.

I'm not too upset about it- I have to restart the SEED exam to manually (no GF) kill 75 enemies. Oh well, gives me a chance to test out some sweet Limit Breaks. :)
