As default I think its back irc, pc comes with strange starting buttons for a pad.
As in when you plug in your xbox 360 pad the game does not map the buttons correctly (back is a button on a 360 pad) as it does not register your trigger buttons, I know because I used one to play, so no it is not RB by default on pc with a 360 pad. You have to switch the buttons to what you want them to be also im pretty sure the triggers are classed as the sticks now I think of it, as in the right stick pushed in is RT irc and the left stick for LT, so try pushing in the right analog stick ;) and be sure to let me know if this worked or if im being stupid and remembering wrong
It's FVII where it's worse, as LB is not used and cannot be configured without 3rd party software. i.e. run is Back and RB in FFVII but it's both the stick buttons in FFVIII.
Hmmm maybe you are right, I will await conformation (or just use google later lol) but I could have sworn that the triggers don't work and its the shoulder buttons that do.
Having looked (I couldn't wait) I think you are right and I was being an idiot except for the triggers, from the guides on steam it seems the shoulders/bumpers do work and the triggers don't, as you pointed out they are replaced by pushing in the analog sticks (R3 and L3)
So I guess the OP had never played FFVIII with a pad before? Oh well hope this whole thing helps them ;)
