OK plus rule is some BS

I have 4/8 carbuncle card and line it up with two cards with ♥♥♥♥ing 8 on the side and 4 above and i dont get the ♥♥♥♥ing plus? ummmm they both equal 12.....

I think he is getting confused with the Same and Plus rule.

But then i could be getting confused. It can be a little hard to explain.

there was nothing factoring in the power of the cards boards was clear of elements

Elemental doesn't count for Same or Plus rule, anyway. It takes the original values.

Imagine a card in the left hand corner with the horizontal numbers 4, 5
Now imagine a card in the right hand corner with horizonal numbers 6, 3
Placing the Carbuncle Card in the middle would utilize its 4, 4 numbers
The plus becomes active because
(4+5) + 4 = 4 + (6+3)

That's not how it works. When you place a card, it can only ever use 1 number from a card already placed, not 2.

Say a card in the top left corner has a 5 on the right hand side.
A card in the top right corner has a 5 on the left hand side.
Then you can place Carbuncle in the middle of them to take both of the cards with Plus. 5+4 = 9 & 4+5 = 9.

yea i was facing ellone to get lagunas card and there was random plus same/same wall and open for the rules.

Honestly when the Plus/Same is in effect I literally just win by putting down a card and praying I win lol.
