Chicobo Card

So apparently I need to lose a chicobo card to the Queen of cards (currently in Detling Hotel) but it supposedly comes from a sidequest in forests on the world map. I just control of balamb garden and i passed a forest but it qas enclosed by mountains where the valamb garden can't go :/

Am i able to complete this sidequest before moving on with main story?

You can do the chocobo forest quest at any time during the game. But, the queen of cards quest is only available until disc 3.

the whole quest is confusing me tbh. So the queen of cards appears to move to set destinations that you cant influence but then im reading she has to be in dollet everytime. I recently lost the chocobo card to her in deling and was trying to win the chubby chocobo card from the guy in balamb on the bench outside the library. After 20 battles he didnt show the card

the card queen need to be go to dollet and you need to speak with the card queen also that tells that her father used the kid card and crafted the chocobo-card and where to find it and even if you have done right that guy pop not so fast. thats why i like the random rule almost evertime chocobo-card

she was in dollet already and i spoke to her father already before. this is how i got the kiros card and the minimog card back. after that i lost sacred to her at the same time. she never actually said anything about chicobo card but i just went ahead amd lost it to her

are you saying you need to have her in dollet every time you lose a card to her or can i just go ahead and lose all the cards im supposed to lose to her until she shows back up in dollet? and then she will talk about them all at once? if she has to be in dollet everytime you lose a card to her this is so stupid

if you lost sacred card to her she will leave and if you fight here else and lose also chicobo to her they NEED bk to dollet cause the card needed to be craft also for irvine(FH' old mans' wife). so this card to lose was just bad luck and you need like talk about her first for chicobo before duelling. so the card queen will be turn in the card NEXT time bk in dollet really nasty part i got this the firsttime also and figured it out my own way. hope it will help you- normally from dollet she go bk to deling city and if you lucky theire she go bk to dollet if worst she go FH. best chance to get her bk to dollet is when she is in the shumi village, and/or winhill but from winhill dollet or deling city for info so nasty traveling to get her bk to dollet for turn in sacred/chicobo.... so just make sure you win 1 of the card bk but dont hope she go then bk to dollet if she do you need redo this for the next card again or you use a that mogri card lose to her and win from her bk best way to make her move to dollet.

Shes in Fishermans Horizon I think or was last time I checked. Now I can't find her at all lol (just got ragnarok). I didn't realise she could move to multiple locations I thought they were fixed.

Is it possible I could keep losing the minimog card to her and winning it back from son (as its useless anyway) and get her back to dollet? I have to find her first XD. I checked FH, balamb, and dollet and she's not there.

you didnt read my text really? cause i posted also bk to deling-city, from FH theire are 3 option. winhill(winhill hotel),shumi village(hotel) and last option i forgot my self its esther(near president). and i didnt win bk to card bk from her son i win the card bk from the cardqueen it self to move her bk.
