Edea's Letter

I just started disc 3. I'm trying to progress by talking to the captain of the white ship. He tells me he needs proof, so I try to bring him Edea's letter, but it's not in my inventory and Edea will only play cards with me. Is there anyway around this?

Yes, I did the dream sequence with Laguna. But when I go back I get nothing.

This is very strange ... Try to talk to Cid until he starts repeating the dialogues. Then try to talk to Edea until she repeats the dialogues.

Both of them would rather play cards.

just talk to edea until she runs out of things to say. the letter should appear in ur inventory once that is done.

After Laguna Event go to the bridge and speak with Nida and built an party then left garden and enter edeas house speak with edea and she will mentoring that she will be on the ship of the with seeds and give you the letter. depending on ya controller or mouse or keyboard set up just normal talk not card game button. check ya inventory to be sure.

Don't want to sound rude, but you are actually pushing the "talk" button and not the "play cards" button, right?
They are two seperate commands. If someone can't play cards they will just talk, so I see how you could potentially get confused.
