Chocobo world can be played automatically

All you have to do is turn off Wait for Event in the menu. In the meantime u can go out or do something else. If u come back he will have collected many items and will be leveled up.

But dont forget to make a backup of your file in your documents directory. The name of the file is chocorpg.ff8. Otherwise the launcher will delete this file.

NEVER TURN OFF WAIT FOR EVENT. That's how you end up permanently losing the ability to get Chocobo's Ultimate Attack.

You sure about this because once I die and heal back to full it doesnt restart moving until I click something

Chocobo can nap for an obnoxiously long time without waking up, but he can wake up on his own. That said, don't. If you turn off "Wait For Event" and a particular event triggers, you fail it and you get permanently locked out of the ultimate Chocobo Skill.

Oh I only messed around with for about 40 mins. I think Im like level 3 and likely wont play it at all any more.
