The worst is the boss battle theme
Battle + Victory: Liked more the PS1 version, mainly because the PC version of victory has
some strange kind of distortion as I said in the OP (you can hear it in the video too).
Boss: I prefer PC for that one. The drums sound bigger and more real.
Never Look Back: Definitely PS1. Instrument levels sound more proper and has better use of stereo.
Wounded: PS1 wins again. Organ sounds more powerful and dramatic.
Overall I think the PS1 music is indeed more solid, but I'm ok with the PC soundtrack and I'm glad it isn't ruining the game for me.
Anyway, if you ever want to use the music from the PS1 there is an easy to use mod.
