But then again, ive killed many "unkillable bosses" using these basic healing strategies of increasing the healer count/ reducing damage, so give it a try
1= a fixed level (usually certain areas or bosses)
2= the average level of your party (usually bosses)
3= the average level of your party plus or minus a x number (normal enemies)
4= the average level of your party up to a max (usually bosses)
The sorceresses A, B and C while fighting while time gets compressed are all fixed, they are always lvl 45.
Leveling in this game really doesn't do all that much, except loot wise and which magics you can draw. Leveling up all your characters to 100 without specific stat bonus abilities which give you extra stats when leveling up is rather sad. Seriously, the stat difference between a lvl 100 char and its starting level is miniscule. The best way to increase a stat is with the means of junctioning.
This is a proper setup for junctioning:
HP: Holy (3800)
Str: Meteor (75)
Vit: Meltdown (80)
Mag: Flare (44)
Spr: Reflect (72)
Spd: Tripple (70)
Eva: Tornado (12)
Hit: Double (40)
Luck: Aura (40)
Elemental attack: Don't even bother for most enemies
Elemental def:
-Ultima 100 all resist
-Full-Life 40 all resist
-Life 30 all resist
-Shell 20 all resist
If you junction all 4 you will absorb 90% of all elemental damage
Status attack: Blind, Silence, Sleep, Death (swith em around a bit per character)
Status defence:
-Pain
-Confuse
-Berserk
-Sleep / Death (depends on the enemy your fighting, i suggest death on most cases)
Where to get all this stuff?, well just look for a guide, i suggest Split Infinity's on gamefaqs, the wiki or whatever.
Wow, that's great info. I have pretty limited stocks of magic at the moment, so I'll see what I can draw.
The strategy I ended up settling on was to cast haste on everyone at the start of battle, then cast death on each sorceress, one by one.
Right before the final sorceress, I waited for my haste to run out and then recast it on everyone just to be sure it wouldn't fail when I needed it. I healed everyone with curaga, and killed the sorceress preceeding the final one. As soon as final sorceress came in, I used the GF from two party members, and put the final nail in the coffin with Squall using Kamikaze before she could cast Ultima. A little crude, perhaps, but it worked, lol.
In my current game, i think my characters were more properly setup while fighting ifrit then most are in the end of the game...... simply stated, no, the game isn't that difficult for me now XD But then again, i play this game now for building up my characters.
So you may want to focus on your spirit stat to reduce all spell damage....focus on a defensive junction and this battle should be pretty standard
@john...vit is for physical attacks, which isnt as important in this fight, you want your best junctions on spirit to protect from any oncoming magic attacks
Of course i know what vit does, however i never stated what does what, just what are good junctions per stat.
