Odd pink object in Winhill vacant house (Disc 2)

Hey.

So I was recently playing FFVIII and I've noticed this odd-looking pink object in the 1st floor of Winhill's vacant house (the house with the bullet holes on the wall) and I'd like to know if anyone knows what this is.

This object doesn't show up in Laguna Dream Sequence in Winhill. It’s only there in Squall's timeline.

It appears to be some sort of visible interactive sprite in the background as its highlighted colors and collision box suggest. However, no action occurs when you try to interact with it.

I may add that this has nothing to do with the vase pieces of Winhill's Vase Quest, as most of you may know. But I don't find any reference to this pinky thing in any internet FAQs I've been following in this playthrough, though.

Looks like a large lady bug to me, but I dunno.
