Stuck on title screen

Has anyone figured out how to get past the title screen my keyboard is unresponsive x does nothing it seems like my keybinds are not matching up or changing by there self and suggestions please? Running on windows 10.

weird, It should be X... but can you still exit the game with escape?

I exit it with the windows key yes. For some reason the ff8 input.cfg file does not match with the default keys in game there random numbers like "select" 472. "exit" 453. I have tryed to change them manually and just deleting them all together but no matter what they go right back to the same thing.

This sounds like a weird keybinding issue with your device. do you have a 'special' keyboard? I suggest using a HID remapper or something if you can't fix the problem. Sounds more like a steam problem than an ff8 one

his problem is that it keeps changing the numbers in his ff8input.cfg file to numbers like 472 instead of 47. I tried sending him my config file, and when he pasted it into the documents folder it immediately changed the number for Select from 47 to 472 (without the game running). He is running a Razer keyboard / mouse combo.

+1, "X" button is "Action" button.

I have pressed x along with every other key does nothing
