How Long Is "Disc 1"?

im an hour and 15 mins in, how long is disc 1?
and as well i suppose discs 2 and 3?

if you have never played the game and like to explore and do everything the main story will take you about 50+ hours with all the side quests and what not about 75+, this is all 3 discs, disc 3 being the shortest

I seem to remember my first play through whole game took me around 80 hours

It will take about 20 hours or less to complete disc 1. Disc 1 is the longest disc story wise on ff7. While disc 3 is the shortest by a large margin.

Disc 1 is very lineal and story-extensive. Considering all the flashbacks and cutscenes, If I remember correctly, DIsk 1 can be beaten in 18 hours or so.
Disc 2 is about revisiting places and sidequesting It depends on how many sidequests you do and how long it takes you to puzzle where to go. From 5 hours to god knows...
Disk 3 is basically the final part. less than 4 hours

Disc 1 shouldn't take you more than about 12 hours if you stay on track and don't try to grind.

Took me about 20 hours to finish Disc 1. The other two were over almost immediately in comparison.

Asking about it an hour and twenty minutes in's not a good sign though.

Disk 1 builds up the story, so it will probably take a first timer 15+ hours

It will most likely take you 15-20 hours to beat Disc One, depending on how fast you play.

The total game will likely take you anywhere from 35-60 hours.

Good im sick of modern short games, one of the reasons i wanted to try this game again, need something that lasts weeks and weeks, not a single sitting.
