I've played more than 999 hrs on the original copy on PS1, I have no wish to repeat everything again for the sake of nostalgia. xD
I don't know. I mean, if I bought this game tomorrow, I could see myself using editors to get max Knight's of the round materia and all the top end stuff to test out Materia Combos. It's quite an old game now, many people who have played the original have already played the game to death. There's no harm in using a save game editor to try out stuff that we missed years ago, during our 1st play through, when the game is quite old now and is single player.
Single player as in no multiplayer modes. As far as I was aware, this game didn't have a multiplayer mode available when it was re-released on Steam.
I can really see myself trying out all of the old combo's again with Knight's of the Round etc...
It used to take me about 15 minutes for one fight lol, because of chain casting Knight's of the Round. Then, on the PS1 version, you would get to the Sephiroth final fight, and bang, all your saves would be deleted.
No, but it might have something to do with the fact that every PXS1 user that I knew, way back then, always played with the PSX turned upside down, and then something heavy like an ash tray put on top of it, because the lazers burned out so quick in them.
