Soviet Installation - The Red Mine - Bug
So I've ecountered a bug during the optional tomb (The Red Mine)
in Soviet Installation, it's during the last part where you'll need
to use the carts to stop the water flow.

So I'm at the point where I've freed one of the carts, and tied it up
with the rope thing, all good here, but when I then jump on the
uranium bucket thingie that lifts up the other bucket thingie
which releases the cart, and it comes crashing into the wall
hanging by the rope and stopping the water flow.
The only thing is that, the water flow only stops for a second,
then it continues, still with the cart hanging there.

Tried several times, loaded up checkpoints and other campfire saves,
but no, and this kinda makes it impossible for me to solve this tomb.
Anyone else encountered this problem?

I haven't encountered a problem there. I finished it, but don't recall the place 100%. Did you watch any kind of videos just in case you did something wrong?

If so, then it is probably a legit bug that should be looked into.
right after I encountered the problem I watched a video walkthrough of that tomb, and that is how you're supposed to do it. In the walkthough the water flow becomes blocked by the hanging mine cart, so you can throw molotov at the wall and burn it up to get into the final room. But in my game the water flow just continues, even when the cart is hanging there. Even tried a molotov just in case, but the water flow puts the molotov out.

Bump. Anyone beat this part of the game? I experience the same bug
After yesterday's patch, the problem is now solved for me. I was able to finish it
Do you have vsync disabled? I had tons of problems with this tomb challenge (Water continued flowing, pulling the minecart would open the gate but the cart wouldn't move) until I enabled vsync.
You think that's a bug for me the entire cart system including the track is missing from that tomb as in it's just not there so there is no way to stop the water :/

I've encountered the same glitch. No mine cars and no track in the mine. I got here before I obtained explosive arrows, so I don't know if this is a requirement to beat this tomb. I will leave and come back when I have grenade arrows to check.
no its not a requirement I went back the next day after restarting the game and it was all there that time so just check it again and see if it's ok.

Bumping an old thread, but I had this problem today and enabling vsync and retrying worked for me. Thanks

its not working for me
did you enable vsync?
Already enabled VSync (Triple). Still I dont see rope on carts. In my case, when I enter room, both 2 carts was already outside. And there wasn't cart with rope inside that cage thing.

Please take a screen shot for me. I can better tell you what the problem is.
This "bug" is fixed by the above solution.
