Challenge tomb with two boats and pulleys broken.
The challenge tomb with the two boats near the waterfall is busted AF.

Getting to the center island is a pain because the physics are busted on the boats. It doesn't stay upright reliably and jumps around a lot in the water.

Getting across on the second boat that you pull from behind the waterfall is proving nigh impossible because it won't stay upright and the boat almost immediately tips over sideways as soon as the rope is attached.

The result is mostly getting dumped into the water where you are swept away to your death, and even if you manage to stay on by getting onto the side, attempting to move drops you into the water most of the time, and even if it doesn't you can't access the interactivity point you need to finish the sequence by cranking the boat into place manually.

The end result is a frustrating and near impossible challenge tomb because the physics are broken.

This may be a framerate issue where uncapped frames are screwing with the physics, as setting the cap doesn't seem to work anymore.

I have a 3080 Ti, and I get somewhere between 170-250 FPS most of the time regardless of how I set the framerate cap.

EDIT: I did manage to get through it after about 20 tries, but simply because I got lucky and the boat didn't dip all the way over once.

I was finally able to get over to crank the boat into place only because of dumb luck that the physics decided to work close to the way they were supposed to once. I was still almost tipped over, but had just enough of an angle to stand on.

This challenge is not working the way it is supposed to even though I lucked into finishing it just by being persistent.

This is old, but in case anyone runs into it, I limited the framerate to 60 through nvidia control panel and that worked for me.

Can confirm. After 20+ angry tries and never getting past the second island, setting frame cap to 60 via nvidia helped. It's still a little glitchy, but workable. Got it on the second try.

This is broken mechanics in the game. How can this be in a AAA game? Like, noone tested it? Come on - boat just freaks out on the water and jumps all over the place. If you can't rely on physics just fake it -.-

Thanks, it somewhat helped, boats were then okaish, glitchy but still I was able to manage it
A lot of tried after the change, but they were nowhere near the previous state, where they did everything the could except flying (they walked like humans, turned upside down, etc) :steamhappy:

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
