a little ending discussion [spoilers]

lol you spend the whole game upgrading your guns to get the best gear, then in the end your guns/bow/etc get taken away from you when you fight Konstantin? Come on devs, that's a joke of an ending. It's like you're trying to troll the players or something lol.

You pretty much can't use your weapons vs either of the two bosses at the end... Konstantin or the Helicopter... lol.

doesn't help that each upgrade takes like 20 deerskins... lol. Some tiny amount of leather to wrap a couple AK magazines together requires like 20 deerskins lol... come on.

and then you can't even use it at the end anyway ...loool

TR 2013 you can use your fully upgraded OP guns during the final boss figth and i end it on 20 secs on my first try using only BOW (Imagine if i use the handgun on the final boss the most OP weapon on TR 2013 would be arround 15 secs or maybe 10 since you can instareload the hadgun by jumping).

The ending is fine. The use of the guns are during the 2 enemies wave. Depending how fast you clean that is how fast you reach the final boss.

Imagine for a second if the game allow you to use all your weapons. Constantine figth would be over in 5 secs bc

You could spam explosive/posion/fire arrows quickly

You could aimbot to his head with "True shot"

You could unload the special handung ammo on him without issues (30-50 enhaced damage bullets without the anoying part to be force to reload)

You could spam him to death with the military rifle, single bolt action (You can still instareload your guns like on TR2013 and the single bolt action rifle is capable to kill a bear with a single shot on the head on survivor without skills related to enhaced damage).

You could enhaced shotgun ammo without need to reload (20-30 enhaced damage+ fire bullets)

Force the player to think for once on the entire game is actually nice (and people like a lot that final boss figth mechanic at the point on SOTTR they dedicate an entire section where lara has to figth with the knife only and is one of the best parts of the game)

The final boss is fine. Is not a trolling. NONE of the games is forced to let you use your stuff with the final boss (Or theres a gamers rule book? even if such a thing exist they still not forced to follow those rules).

I prefer a boss figth that force you to think rather than one that you will end in 5 seconds bc you had OP stuff for the ending.

Btw the bossfigth is fun but i wouldnt complain about that. You can end it in 35 secs quickly if you take a quick look to all the resources you had available but for some reasson many people forget that area has

-Climbable areas where you can attack from the air constantine
- A lot of safe places to quickly get out of sigth from constantine
- A lot of items to distract
-A lot of items to fabricate new stuff (If you manage to upgrade all the guns for the finall boss you definitly had the stuff to create something here)

A lot of people complain about this part back in 2015 bc all they care were their guns "Oh he took my guns im useless without him, nerf constantine" (Belive it or not a lot of people ask this back in 2015)

People relied on their guns (Bc back in TR 2013 if you fully upgrade the handgun you had an OP since the begining and any bossfigth was quickly ended by the handgun, here by the poison/explosive arrows). The game/konstantine outplayed you and that is actually nice bc that is a huge change for the game, on TR 2013 Lara is outequipped multiple times against their enemies (They had granade launchers, fire arrows, machine guns, etc before lara had the chance to get his handgun upgraded). Here the enemies are the once who are outequipped. You can pass the entire game with the makeshift bow without problems being carried by poison/explosive arrows and "triple shot"+ "true shot".

Im actuallly glad that they dont allow you to use guns against the helicopter and konstantine. It would be a boring bossfigth if they allow you to do that (I mean if you could use the bow against constantine, With "Clasically trained" you would spam 3 explosive arrows on konstantine and probably downing him in 10 seconds, and during the final boss figth spam him with any type of arrows and end the bossfigth in another 10 secs) If everything would be that easy whats the point of get a final boss then?

@Helena WOW thats the longest reason for a TR ending I never saw. I don't think OP is gonna come back with a reply after that. Took me almost 2 days to read it (kidding)

I just came back to Rise TR after a 2yr lay-off. I forgot how much fun it was. It's good to see some one more grounded in terms of game play.
