To be honest, I feel quite sad and irritated, that a forum user clarified this now to all players, instead of the publisher before or during patching the game. The publisher gave absolutely no information, justification or forewarning about how to deal with these issues of adding a completely new service to the game. They woke up only after the issues started happening and gave just a one sentence of explanation. This is really just sad for me.
Must be because I never even had Epic account, let alone connected "it" to Steam!
Business as usual for me then!
Ask Valve to refund your game because its unplayable because this DRM was not mentioned on the steam page.
Don´t trust EVILGAMES.
And now i can´t start Rise of the Tomb Raider offline.
Basically, EVILGAMES sabotaged my game and normally computer sabotage carries a heavy penalty.
Btw downgrading the game allow you to use it again on offline mode.
And for some reasson the game is softlocking on certain areas and theres a new "infinite pistol ammo" glitch that can be triggered by accident on many areas (specially with the revolver if you reload on certain time).
If you dont had DLSS funtions then better downgrade the game, but having to face all this issues just for DLSS is not worth it.

This should allow you to unlink the account. I know it won't solve the other problem, though.
now i removed it because i have no time for nonsense like this.
it was not red before.
So it seems that indeed, like others, I also cannot play RotTR offline. And I never had the Epic & Steam accounts linked.
Considering this, I think the "13" in the Build number seems appropriate.
