Does the Avid Shopper Achievement work?

Despite purchasing all of the items from the Supply Shack, i do not get the Avid Shopper Achievement. I have even tried to load an older safe game and purchased the last item again. Did not work. Was buying it after the story though.

Are you supposed to purchase all items before the story is over to trigger the achievement?

Edit: You are not. It just doesn't work for some.

Same here. I completed the game first and tried buying the last item. Doesn't give me the achievement. I'm guessing buying them all before the story ends would have worked.

Since bviking78 did get it after finishing the story, it seems like this achievement is bugged :-/

Steam says my next closest achievement is Avid Shopper. There's 1 shotgun in that shack. Bought it a few times after reloading save and the game just won't communicate with steam. -_-

Today decided to find coins and buy 2 weapons. Achievment instantly appeared after buying second weapons, so it works.

I bought everything before finish the game, and the achiev don't pop up neither.

Still doesn't pop. It'll require a wipe of user data, disabling cloud sync, and a new game for it to work for those that experienced the bug.

There are 3 more achievements that doesn't work:
- Fluent (from max proficiency in any language)
- Whatever It Takes (rescue Jonah from Konstantin), a story-line one
- Glub Glub Glub (drown 3 enemies)

These achievements are very important for me, because I want to collect them all. So, I'm crying for help!
