Military Rifle bug?

I just got to the store, and bought a few things. I got the Military Rifle with the grenade attachment, but when I got to the campfire, she's holding an invisible gun, and I can't seem to get it to equip like the other ones. Any ideas?

I got the problem too, in other saves it worked itself out, maybe when i got another rifle or something like that...not sure what fixed it...

I have this problem as well. Waste of money purchasing the rifle and not able to use it.

You could try switching to another rifle and then going back to the Military Rifle, doing this it should in theroy show up. I had to do this when I got it, and it worked for me.

The military rifle n the snowflake rifle she has in her inventory are the same, 2 weapons but the same. the shotgun in the shop is not what you want either, it has to be the pump-action shotgun that jacob gives you. buy the crafting tool, grenade launcher, rope accender, pistol surpressor, the rest of the items can wait till you finish the game.

This is what the end looks like. 2 bow's same, 4 shotguns 2 each same, 4 rifles 2 each same, total thats 10 weapons, or is it really only 5? I lost count. The weapon you buy in the shop is a ghost, you already have one. Thats why you don't see it. Hence, it's not a bug.

Now add the DLC's, and you once more have another same weapon, either way, your only going to use, 1 bow, 1 pistol, 1 shotgun, n 1 rifle. It's not about the weapon in her hand, instead it's the ammo in the weapon.

Just carry on playing. Not too long after you actually get an AK47 via the main storyline, and after obtaining that, the Military Rifle (which is actually a Heckler & Koch G36) will be visible, and equipable.

actually you get the AK and 2 bolt-action rifles before you can even afford to buy the HK, and you should be able (from raiding afew tombs) have the other combat rifle.
