How to switch arrow type?

How do you switch from poison arrow to normal ammo? Missed the info prompt

Fire with a different key. Not sure on keyboard/mouse. But on Xbox One controller, RB throws a type, RT throws the other.

Check your key mappings for secondary fire

on PC mouse its simply middle mousebutton.and later on quickly 1 1 1 1 pressing if you have more than 2 ammotypes.

The 1 key doesn't seem to select the next arrow for me, and I'm getting nothing on screen from MMB. Any thoughts?

The one key (above the Q, not on the keypad) should switch arrow types. If you press 1 repeatedly you should hear the game switch through the arrow types and see it show the different arrow heads on screen. This is only if you actually have the different arrow types. Have you picked them up? Because you don't start with them you only get the one in the beginning.

None of these tips work for me. It shows I have arrows but won't cycle through them with 1 key or middle mouse button. Anything else?

Select the bow. Then press the number 1 key several times to cycle through the available arrows. Once selected, right click to pull the bow back and press the middle mouse button to fire the selected arrow.

I have normal and poison. The heads up shows the normal on the left and the poison on the right. When I hit 1 the poison moves up and is replaced with another poison. However when I shot, I shot normal arrows. There doesn't seem to be any UI indication that poison was equipped.

So far in the game I'm just passed the optional ship tomb in the cave. I think I learned a new arrow type in it, but haven't had a chance to see if I can craft it.

You have to press down the scroll wheel (which is called the MMB [middle mouse button]) on your mouse to shoot the different arrows you select.

First time i passed it too, thought i need fire arrow, but you don't need anything special for it.

I know people have already said this, but....

LMB fires regular arrows.
MMB fires special arrows.

1, tapped over and over, will cycle through your special arrow choices.

Doesn't work got me im stuck with normal arrows and fire arrows,,the other 2 times I have but can not select them ...

If you're using a keyboard, you press "1" to cycle thru the different arrow types. To make the special arrows, you cycle through the one you want (using "1") and then middle mouse to craft. If you want to shoot a special arrow, use "1" to cycle through the arrows & use the middle mouse button to fire (press down on the scroll button on your mouse...that's you middle mouse button).
