[Tested] GPU Nvidia 840M, can I run the game? And do you get an extra copie of Tomb Raider that you can gift?
Can my laptop handle this game on a playable framerate +30fps on 720p?
My laptop is a msi gp70 2pe
My specs of my laptop are:
CPU: intel i7-4720HQ @2.60GHz
GPU: Nvidia 840M 2GB
RAM: 12GB

And I already have Tomb Raider in my library do I receive another copie that I can gift?

I hope for 30 fps 720p medium on 840m too.

I would like to know too. Is there anyone already playing ROTTR with a similar setup?

Im running a slightly overclocked 840m with an i5 and 12 Gigs of Ram.
720p, everything high, only shadows medium, hair effect turned off: 25-35 fps, no stutter! It runs very good :)

Lol, I played on 840m. It almost unplayable.

Just bought it! Played the intro and tweaked its settings. I chose between low and medium (like low textures but all screen effects turned on) and and it's running fine so far. There's a noticeable frame dropping (nothing too critical) at some at the unplayable parts but it's ok.

I'm glad I bought it! Gonna spend my weekend playing it!

My notebook is an Intel i7 (5500U, I think), 8GB RAM, Geforce 830m 2GB, Windows 10.
GTX 680M, getting 27-35 Frames mostly 30 FPS stable.

Even overcloaking slightly can do alot. I overclock my memory just 100 Mhz and the core 10 Mhz and it get in some games +10 fps :) just tweak the settings a little more and keep the drivers updated. My game is still downloading so I can test it probably maybe the day after tomorrow because I have no time tomorrow. MSI Afterburner is a good overcloaking program.

I have done a quick test without overclocking and I have a framerate +20 fps (except for 1 scene where it dropt for a second to ~19 fps) but most of the time it's about ~25-32 fps. I have only played the first level so far but if you overclock a little and you tweak the settings you can probably get a little bit more fps. here are links to my settings I hope it can help a little :p http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=610680601
