Will I be able to run it?
I'm currently running on a 15" Retina MacBook Pro, mid 2015. It has an i7 2.5 GHz quad, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB PCIe Flash and the R9 M370X 2GB (GDDR5). Minimum requires GTX 650, but it can be handled by a ten years old console as well; it bugs me that requirements are way exaggerated. Thanks.

ffs it's my portable machine that happens to have its own copy of Windows installed for gaming on the go. Just answer or kindly disregard the topic, ty.
Never said I don't have a fully fledged desktop for the task.

Low res & graphics would work with a decent framerate.
You certainly can't expect high quality and native resolution.

Thanks for the reply: according to some benchmarks, it runs TW3 on low preset, 768p at 40 fps and it has higher minimum requirements... and doesn't run on Xbox 360 unlike TR.

Well, different game, probably different engine & port.

Nevertheless, i get the feeling the min requirements are set higher on purpose - there are no recommended ones at all. Though "current" consoles still have way more graphic performance than your MacBook.
Could go either way, well scaling like TR 2013, or not playable at all.

Common sense is suggesting me that it'll run fine: wordt case scenario, going to run it on my desktop.

I'm hoping myself that the min requirements actually go more into the recommended direction.
Guess we'll both find out soon enough.

I don't, lower minimal means better optimization usually. Still, usually they are overkilling. TW3 wants a GTX 660, even though the M370X can run it just fine.

Yep, I can confirm the M370X will run it. Looked up the HD 7770 that's listed as AMD minimum, it's literally as good as the M370X, only thing the latter (being newer) is way better at DirectX 11 stuff and as such runs newer games better. Good to see that, will bring this awesome game with me on the go as well :)

Also if even an Xbox 360 can run it (packing a 2005 GPU), and considering that the M370X even runs TW3 with higher min reqs, with no 360 port, I have no reason to doubt about it.

Are these official spec reqs?
Ric Jan 8, 2016 @ 4:25pm
yes, check the Store page. Nvidia is GTX 650, AMD is HD 7770.

Well, my assumption so far stands: their minimum requirements are some safe bet for initial release. Be it due either pessimistic port optimization, or their own vision of "what it should look like, at least".
Pretty sure, either way, you're save.

Oh yeah, minimum requirements.. Weird there's no recommended yet.I should be safe with a 970.

Yea. Still got an M295X to rely on when things get real nasty, or when I just want to bump up the graphics.
Guess what, I had the first gen MacBook Pro baseling until a month ago with the 650M. I would have been doomed with that GPU (laptop wise, at least). Due to an unrepairable hardware factory defect they replaced it last month with this brand new, top of the line MacBook Pro. Very kind of them gotta say and incredibly satisfied with it.
