Flooded Archives statue bug

I am facing this bug in Flooded Archives where I am supposed to use vessels to blow up the supports of the statue to make it fall down. I have blown up several vessels (on all of the sides) and on the left side of the statue, but the support won't fall down. Sometimes the cut scene starts to play, but it just ends and nothing happens. I can't continue, I can't go back, fast travel not available... there's nothing I can do to continue the game. Apparently this same bug has existed since the xbox version http://forums.eu.square-enix.com/showthread.php?t=183644. Very disappointing. Has anyone else encountered this bug and do you have a workaround to it?

Same bug here. There seems to be no way to get further.

Some people on the internets say that loading a backup save from the load menu (rather than choosing "continue") may fix the problem. However, when I loaded the newest backup save, it was quite far back, with quite a lot of gameplay before that statue part. I still haven't tried playing it again from there, but it seems that I have no choice.

I'll report when I get around doing that, to see if it works.

I had to replay a good chunk of the game. I skipped some optional parts because I couldn't bother doing them a second time. When I finally reached the statue, just in case I did the bugging side first (ie. the one where you have to sweer the barrel past the burning rubble by using a rope) and then the other side. This time it worked.

It's possible the bug happens in some cases if you try to do it in the other order.

I actually ended up doing the same thing. I found the backup save and had to replay some 15 minutes, then I did the buggy side first too and it worked. Kinda nasty bug this one.

I suggest you pull up an older save as there is no "fix" to this problem.

Did someone open a trouble ticket to square enix? I did it and they answered that they are not aware of any bug! :|

As of 2022 the bug is still present.
I think I tried everything:

• Doing the challenge several times in different order and several vessel at a time.
  
• Killing myself
  
• Reset to the last auto save
  
• Uninstalling/Reinstalling

No way around this except reloading an old save (not an automatic one) and redoing it in the right order

I got stuck and only have that save from this level. So I have to download a savegame from the internet or completely start the game from the first level. GG.
