You are playing in a window lol. Have you ever heard of shadowplay desktop recording?
You way jumped the gun with your post, in more ways than one. Actually watch the video and you'll see that I bump it up to 3440x1440p Fullscreen. The 2560x1440 at the start is for performance comparison purposes. Why even post if you didn't watch the 3 minute video ?
Secondly, I offered to record in Shadow play if Treck wanted, but shadow play consumes resources so I recorded with a camera to keep things pure.
I'm getting 29 FPS, @ 1080p and my GTX 980Ti is at 50-55% GPU usage. I'm gonna record another video and if anyone wants to contest it, I'll post another one up.

It's not a big hit on performance either, especially for a GTX 980 ti.
