Quicktime event(Konstantin fight)

I'm on the Divine Source mission and I'm trying to fight Konstantin and I am on this one quicktime event where you have to dodge and then knife him, but I don't know what button to press. I've pressed E,F,C, and the left and right mouse button but for some reason none of them work.

Sorry, I forgot to metion that I have gotten past the dodge part, it's the knifing part that i'm having trouble with.

Did you manage it? I can just dodge. No other key frame is coming up when he tries to stab me...

I wasn't able to just using a keyboard. I used a wired Xbox controller and I was able to stab him. The button to stab was 'y' if you are wondering

I was having the same problem.
Y on the xbox is melay/finisher.

So hit your dodge key, and then you have to time hitting whatever your melay key is to just as the large circle that is reducing in size is within the medium sized circle, but before it's the size of the tiny one.

did you never counter an attack before?

Played through the game on Seasoned Raider, 100% completion now since that post 38 min ago, and no i'd never had to counter before, went through the whole game just doing headshots on almost everything bar having to poison bears and hammer the flamethrower guys with tons of shotgun shells, oh and dragging all the soldiers under water on one icey level.

I'd re-mapped some keys to mouse buttons and the graphic gave no indication as to what button or action to perform so it was maddening until I looked up what button it was on the xbox.

For me, i never bothered with countering attacks, since the timing of them are quite difficult to gauge, well the dodging part, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

So, i just don't bother, i just shoot the bloody sods in general fights anyway.

Melee attack is always F. No problem with that fight until you replay with 0 health upgrades, he can shred you with bullets really quickly.

Well, i was expected it to show up as it did on the xbone like in the youtube videos. It didnt, so i dndt know that you should press the F, thought it was a bug, when i tried it - it worked :p

I had the same exact problem, they didn't post the key but I know I pressed F as that's the melee button.

The main thing is the timing. You have to press it when the circle turns red I believe.
