However, that question can probably answered in the comic book series.
amazing
You know... there use to be this amazing conscept called "best friends". Where two people of the same gender supposed each other, helped each other through all things, and always did things together, but it had absolutely nothing to do with romatic interests. That's what Lara has with Samantha, Sofia, and Nadia. Don't anyone fool themselves otherwise.
As for Lara having a love interest, I think it's unnecessary and actually somewhat counterproductive (I normally support strong, well written, good chemistry romances). Lara doesn't need a love interest. Love interest suggests a lasting relationship between two people looking to build a life together... or at least, that's what it used to mean. Considering the nature of her "work" and the exotic, dangerous places she goes too, the best you could write in is a fling which isn't going to do anything other than seem like a desparate attempt to add some sort of romance to Lara's life. It's not needed or wanted... like a few other changes to Lara's personality they've made. Lara can have a romance interest later in life, remember she's only 23/24 in Rise.
So, I would say no, she doesn't need a love interest, and she's not lesbian.
Really creepy buddy.
She obviously feels more fulfilled in the pursuit of her professional ambitions. People like Lara become held back by distractions like relationships. Not to mention you have more to lose if you are romantically attached to another. Look how she handles the death of her father. How do you think she would react if the wrong people got a hold of someone she was in love with? Career suicide if you ask me.
See, this guy gets it.
Jonah hasn't got the message - that boy has been friendzoned hard!
