Report a translation problem
They are "backpacks" left by "friend" Laras. I mean, if you have a "friend" who plays the game, and they "die" in the campaign, they apparently leave a "backpack" behind for "friends" to find in their campaigns. I'm not entirely sure how this "activates" or quite honestly how it works, but that's the best theory I have.
