Anyway, watch this. I did think Camilla Luddington would be too old to be Lara in the movie but after watching this I think she could play young twenties.

I haven't played or really seen anything of this game but judging by the picture that was posted here, she looks older, which makes sense. Still looks like the same character, she just has a more mature look to her. This game is supposed to be about her being the adventurer and stuff now so giving her a more grown up look seems appropriate.
This new lara looks about 25 or something. And she looks a lot different, like I say she's clearly a comletely different face model.
Both models are good looking. I actually prefered the one from 2013. Though some might say, from a purely objective facial attractiveness point of view, the new one is better looking
But Camilla Luddington is just the voice. The real life model for lara is clearly someone else
That CGI lara was like one cut scene at the beggining of the game?
The rest of the cut scenes were in-engine, not pre rendered videos.
When I think about it, the lara from that initial video in 2013 is basically the lara we've got in engine now
Yes but they used a performance capture technique that mapped Camilla's expression on to the avatars features so despite Lara's face not being based on Camilla's I can still sort of see her in Lara. I also wonder whether or not they altered the model so that Camilla's features were a more close match?
Oh, I see.
Like I said in a post above, if you look at the shipwreck pre rendered video right at the beggining of TR 2103, that's our model now.
The in-engine lara from 2013 kind of reminded me of the actress Kelly Reilly, but with dark hair:

Ariel Suzanne : face
Crystal Cooper : body
in the previous game Lara's face was based on Megan Farquhar's
Just dont be that person.. It cant really be that unbelievable hard for you to understand or see how this can be sexually appealing? People discussing a game with top-graphics and a protagonist based on several different real persons. Nothing compared to the huge amount of games that use sex-appeal as a major sellingpoint but got way ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ looks and you know people buy those. Are you spreading negative and silly comments on all those forums as well?
