I am considring getting this. But not a fan of hunting down weapon parts. Like in the last game. Now i understand some are random and some are in salvage crates. But is there a trainer out there that gives you the weapon parts?

There are trainers out there but I don't know the name(s) of 'em. Beware, if this trainer gives you "an unfair advantage" over other players, you might get banned by Steam. Not sure, ok.
Weapon parts are located in strong boxes. Yes, there are a lot. All weapons can be upgraded with parts found in crates, brown boxes & looting dead enemies. lots of crates to be found (in some areas), tons of brown boxes to find. Looting dead enemies is up to you.
The game is fun.
Someone will come along to help you with a trainer.

Not planning on using it on multiplayer on single player. Just hate the fact enemies have guns and i can't just take their weapons and break them down for parts. And not a fan of searching every nook and cranny of an area for upgrade parts. And remember in the last game a trainer gave you the upgrade parts was hopping their was a trainer that does the same for this game as well

There is a weapon unlocker and a outfit unlocker but the best is using cheat engine 5.0, that will give everything..can't post here tho'...

the instructions are right below the link I posted:
after downloading cheat engine and the .CT file

1- Start CE and load the table(the .CT file)just drag the file to the program..
2- Start the game
3- Load a save and go to any campfire
4- Interact with it but don't go in any campfire sub-menu
5- Select ROTTR.exe in CE(select 'open process' in FILE tab menu) to hook it (and keep table when it ask you)
6- Activate the main script then go back in-game to populate the table with correct values
7- Unlock the weapons/outfits you want in CE then return in-game and go in outfit/weapon sub-menu to see them
8- Save, disable the table and close CE
----
the trainer(link is on the page posted) will not get you all weapon parts but does have some interesting features(the slow mo is kind of cool)

It's not like the weapon parts are any harder to find than random salvage crates laying around, so I feel you're worrying too much. You're going to need salvage materials anyway just to upgrade. What's harder to find is all the non necessity items, like documents that fill in story details and such, and collectibles related to challenges that have zero to do with combat readiness.

They've pretty much set it up so if you just open crates as you go through the maps, you're unlocking weapon parts, yet I still have one rabbit to find in Geo Valley, along with other unnecessary collectibles. Point being, salvaging is only a grind if you're going for 100% completion.
