Geothermal Valley Bug ?

Having trouble finding last document and a survival cache in this area.Both not showing on map.Had same problem in area with glacial cavern where one or 2 pick ups didnt appear on map.Anyone else have this trouble

Sorry, but it's not a bug. You have not found all the maps/explore satchels for Geothermal.
You will find an explore satchel inside Infirmary Tomb. Its in the right pond as you enter the puzzle area, behind a wall. If you have the "reveal" skill, highlight & you will see it through the wall. As for what map you are missing, I cannot tell from your original post. Most maps you'll fnd after you leave an area, unfortunately.

Thanks this worked although im still missing a document and im 99% complete.I ll carry on with the game for now and come back later.

Unfortunately, I can't remember all the places the maps are. I can tell you that there are 2 right off the top of my head that might help. There's 1 down in Cistern Tomb, when facing the codex, look to Lara's left. There are 2 recesses; 1 contains a document, the other contains a map you may have these 2 already). There's a map well hidden at Copper Mill Bridge (to the right of the truck, facing its rear end, behind a wall). Again, I'm not sure these apply to Geothermal.
If you don't mind, take a screenshot of your Geothermal map, post it & I'll compare it to mine. I'm currently at 99% (overall) but my Geothermal is at 100%. I should be able to tell you where that document is. And maybe remember where the map that goes with this document is.

The reason i thought it had bugged is cause on Glacial Cavern a few collectibles never showed up on the map well at least for me.The 1st one was when u slide down u turn around and go back a little (on the borderlands document) the 2nd a Relic where u swim underwater and do a right and its on a small ledge.And i completed the ice ship challenge and grabbed the map at the top.Anyway im making good slow progress lol

Woohoo...found the map. Travel to Hiden Ravine. Go into the tomb. Go up the first track (it's now missing pieces of track), you'll have to use the grapple axe to span the gaps. Once at the top (where you pushed the cart off) facing the back wall, turn right and go around the wall. There's a room there (you have to jump a gap) that contains the map. Right hand side of the room on the floor. I haven't been able to locate the document that is missing. Once you get the missing map, it should show u where the missing document is.
You did get the explorer satchel in Infirmary,
Found the survivor cache. Lower valley. There's a 2 story wooden "deck" where a strong box was. The cache is to the right of the survivor cache that you already found, near that deck. Across from the "deck" is a rock formation. The cache is on the left side, near the start of this formation, near the waters edge (directly to the side of the 1 you found).

Click on the first screen shot and that is where the cache is. The bow's pointer is on the cache.
I can't remember exactly when this happened but I did have a similar problem as you. Infirmary Tomb. I opened the codex, but it didn't register. The only way I realized it was the mission where you have to explore all the tombs. I always hit her (the lady with tomb mission) when I have done 5 tombs. I "hit" her this time with only 4 tombs. I knew I had done 5, but the game said 4. I opened my map & sure enough it showed that I hadn't "solved" the Infirmary. Fast traveled to the camp & climb back up. Sure enough the codex had not been opened. I know I opened it. It is possible that you did "snag" a temporary "bug." I like to call them anamolies as it doesn't happened to other players I know.

You know this games really winding me up tonight lol.I get the map from research base it pops up secrets revealed and on the map nothing im left with 1/3 coin cache and i have 1/1 on mural.On the map there is nothing.Ok i could go watch a youtube video but the way things are currently i have several areas where despite picking up activist map and visiting all murals im still left with a blank map (apart from the fast travel icons) and various documents/relic missing.

Might be best just to start a new game

Before you start a new campaign, verfiy your Rise game files through Steam. Something doesn't sound right.
One thing I should warn you about, not all maps/satchels are for the area you find it in. It could be a map of the next area. Same with the Satchels. As an example: In the Soviete Installation, the monolith near the Wolves Den (that you cleared out for a mission) shows only 2 caches in the Installation. The other coin cache is back before the train yard, where you zipped down (after exiting Glacier).

i redownloaded the game in the end and no change.I played up until the first level i started having problems with Glacial Cavern and as usual i complete Ice ship and pick up the map.I then view the map and the icon for 1 of the documents which i havent yet picked up isnt there ..sigh lol.I guess im just going to put up with it it only happens on a few levels.On those levels i guess i ll just have to check Youtube lol.Thanks for your help
