Lost City: Trebuchet "glitch"

So I'm at the mission when I have to use the trebuchet to break the gate, but the trebuchet has stuck in a weird position. I don't know if I can post the screenshot but you can check it on my profile (Lara's back are pointing to the gate). The trebuchet is facing west toward 1 of the signal fires, but it's stuck in that postion that I can't rotate it toward the gate anymore, it just does not rotate. When I rotate it to the other side it stops again right before the signal fire on north/east location. Either way, I can't blast the door. So my question is, has someone else experience this glitch and did you manage to resolve it somehow or do I need to repeat entire Lost City chapter?

I haven't read about that particular problem....only the gate one in the lost city.
try completely exiting and then restarting the game 1st, if that fails then have Steam 'verify game cache'..if that doesn't resolve it then load an older save

I've go the same issue as above. Very frustrating. Tried restarting, didn't work.

The first thing when faced with a "bug" in Rise is verify the intergrity of your game's files through Rise. You might be missing one.
If not playing Extreme Survivor, you should be able to pull up a saved game file.
When faced with something that isn't normal in Rise, immediately exit without saving and re-enter the game. In most cases, the game will reset itself.

I had to replay the Lost city chapter from the beginning. That fixed it for me.

There is another bug that can happen with the first Trebuchet. When you interact with it to change it's facing, you get a fire arrow in the back but there are no enemies.

To resolve this, zip down off the platform and then make your way back up. When you reach the Trebuchet, another 3 enemies should spawn. Kill them off and the game will prompt you to use the Trebuchet.

You can also exit the game without saving, the re-enter the game...That resets the trebuchet

Thank you! I just encountered that, and was able to zip down and back up to get the last 3 to spawn. Fixed it no problem.

I've tried all of those suggestions and am still unable to aim the trebuchet at the gate. I even tried fast travel back to the camp before the Lost City and am unable to get back into the Lost City.

im losing my mind right now because i cannot aim the trebuchet, no hostile mobs are here i just cant spin it around enough to fire. every walkthrough or video i see just goes up there and does it but i cant

Ran into the same problem, i can't turn the trebuche to the gate it only lets me turn it opposite to the gate i have no way of firing at the gate, i don't have any non bugged backup save that i could load back and nothing seems to work, can't find how you could replay that mission from the start either, so the game just bricked itself for me after 20 hours of gameplay.
