BE CAREFUL! card selling bug that can lead to DLC card loss

There is currently a bug with the expedition cards where if you mouse over another card while selling a different card it instead sells the card you moused over. This means you can accidentally sell a PAID DLC "UNSELLABLE" card. Outfits, endurance mode cards, special permanent cards. I recently asked square enix's tech support for help in getting back the content that I PAID FOR and lost because of ONE OF THEIR BUGS and they said "unfortunately there is no way to get sold cards back." So basically I will never again be able to use 3 endurance cards that i lost because of this bug. for anyone asking i was under the permanent tab selling very rares.

so be VERY careful when selling any of your cards under the permanent or all tabs. in fact just don't sell anything in those tabs. you could accidentally sell an outfit or endurance card and never be able to use them again even though you paid for them. you have been warned.

also can't believe this 1. wasn't anywhere on the internet that i could find 2. wasn't fixed yet 3. has no PSA to warn users about losing paid content.

Maybe you can try PMing the SqE guy in this thread: http://forums.eu.square-enix.com/showthread.php?t=192277 it deals with missing dlc stuff, maybe they can get it sorted out.

I sure hope so because right now I am playing a game that has content missing that i paid for and it's 1. permanent 2. the game's fault not mine. so i sure hope someone can fix it.

By trying to revert to old patches to restore my lost cards I have now lost an additional card. Because the card that turns enemies into infected is NOT in previous builds it was removed when i reverted to previous game builds. When I returned to the current game version I no longer had the card and I can't get it back. So don't revert to previous patches.

upon closer inspection of my card collection i have actually lost all 20th anniversary card content. I no longer have any of the lara classical skins cards, the infected card mentioned above, or the other card content from this most recent patch. i dont know if you're being sarcastic but i hope not 0.o

I hate how the cards are handled. There should be separate screen for cards. I had a similar incident where I lost a good golden card when I tried to sell some bronze trash.

I tried to sell some unsellable card duplicates but I couldn't. Can you get me through this step by step please? Does it happen only in some specific Expedition mode?

My 20th anniversary card content also was permanently deleted . I hope developers will resolve this issue. But now it's just BEWARE use Beta branch.

the bug i talked about in my above post was fixed in the most recent patch. you can read it in the patch notes

"Selling cards when using the mouse is improved to prevent accidentally selling the wrong card."

so you can no longer sell unsellable cards because they fixed the bug where you sell it by mousing over the wrong card.

yes i was extremely pissed and surprised when i went back to the current patch and all the classic skin cards were gone. the only way i fixed this was family sharing the game to a different account because it re sends you all the card gift packages. thats why i havent responded till now because i just stopped playing on this account lol.
