Missing 1 Survival Cache

I'm missing 1 Survival Cache in Geothermal Valley and it's driving me crazy. They're not always 'active', right? I think they activate when you find a map/bag. But idk I just seem unable to find it.

Also, they don't show up in instinct mode. What am I gonna do? ;_ ;

your best chance to find it is to hop from campsite 2 campsite and looking from there.

the one's I was missing I found that way.

I just found it lol!

I compared a map of all the survival caches from a website with mine, and the one I was missing was near Infirmary. I looked around and I found a bag, so the survival cache activated.

I don't usually look at guides or maps, unless I'm missing something like this.

It was tricky though. Because the bag was in an area that was accesible though an underwater passage that's difficult to see.
It was in the area where you have to pull a lever to fill a bucket with water to reach the codex.
