Does "Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" include ALL contents?
As title. Since I don't have the base game, I should be purchasing "Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" to scoop everything in?

Right, but the confusing part is on the store page, it reads:

"Buy Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration

includes Season Pass"

So what gives???
Everything. I bought this one some time ago, received the main game plus 16 DLCs.

I am confused. I already own the base game, now I can buy the 20th Year Celebration Pack for 2.50 Euro or the full game in 20th year celebration edition for like 6 euro. But it is nowhere mentioned if the DLC includes everything and upgrades my version or not. So confusing!

The 20th Year Celebration Pack includes Blood Ties, Lara’s Nightmare, “Extreme Survivor” difficulty setting, some weapons and outfits. There are no Cold Darkness Awakened, Baba Yaga. and endurance.

The page reads "Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration includes season pass". Doesn't "season pass" include ALL of the other DLCs?

How does one purchase the FULL game then?

So I bought the wrong thing then! As owner of the original game, I should have only bought the season pass and not the 20 year celebration pack. Argh I hate this stupid DLC stuff! Now I wasted 2,50 Euro for some content that I didn't want. I only wanted the single player stuff. :(

edit: Now I am completely confused. I wanted to buy the Season Pass now as well for 3,99€ but then Steam tells I already own (part?) of it.

I just give up. Square Enix how much can you f.ck it up, seriously. Should have downloaded a pirated copy to get the complete game. Now I am even unable to purchase the full game and I bought the base game on day one. Regretting it now.

You can try to refund the 20 year celebration pack and then buy the season pass. The season pass includes the 20 year celebration pack that's why steam tells that you own the part.

It really is too much hassle. It wouldn't not let me buy the game with 20th celebration and season pass for 6 € because it said I already own it. Then it did not even tell me that the season pass for 4€ contains the 20th celebration pack. I was under the assumption that I would get everything if I upgrade to the 20th celebration edition - however I wasted 2.5€ now for nothing.

Refunding is too much of a hassle. This is exactly the reason why I hate buying DLC. I will just skip on the content then and play the base game as I did 4 years ago. But this is really the most unfriendly and annoying system I have ever seen.

Just several clicks. Choose a product, click Support -> It's not what I expected -> Request for refund. Nothing difficult. I think It's worth a try.

Taking a minute to read the details of what you're getting before handing over your money is always a good idea. :Clementine:

I did read up on all the things I could find, but the dsecription is not helping at all. I even googled and read articles about it but I still have no idea exactly what is included in what DLC / Season pass. And nowhere it is mentioned that the season pass includes the 20th celebration pack and the store page lists at top item when I browse for DLC the full game + season pass which is titled 20th celebration edition. So I thought if I upgrade my normal game to this version, I have everything.

And I am not the only person who got confused.
