Walking, climbing, hanging etc. animation bug. Please help.

I have just started playing this game, and whenever I walk she gets stuck in this weird animation bug when she slides forward very slowly. Same thing happens when she is climbing, hanging from a rope/cliff. Can anybody help ?

My Lara will sometimes do this. She slid this morning.
I believe it might be a graphics glitch as Lara will usually do this if I pause the game too long.

Hi guys.

I have tried starting a new game, verifying the game, i have also checked that all my drivers are up to date and I have tried to use a variety of different graphic setting with different resolutions.

The rest of my spcs are:

Windows 10 64 bit OS.
16 gb RAM.
Intel core i7-3770
SSD 500 gb.
Not sure on the mobo but I doubt thats the problem.

Any suggestions are more than welcome :)

Hi Fook...smart guy as the 1st thing to do is verify your game files. Thank you.
There are a variety of issues with the 20yr edition. Let's see if we can't "eliminate" some of those problems. Each step that I list, please try your game.
Some players use DX12 and that in itself is creating a problem. If using DX12, please try switching to DX11.
Increasing your Windows page file. I am a "little" uncomfortable suggesting this as I am not a "Techie" so I need instructions (detailed). If you're comfortable with this, by all means, please try it.
Disable Steam Overlay.
Disable Steam Cloud.
Have you tried any of the Performance Tuning Tips pinned under General Discussions? Please read thru there if you haven't.
Playing in off-line mode.
And last but not least, rolling back Patch 10 to 9 or 8. Do not go any further than 8 as that is the 20yr edition.
I own the "base" game released 1/16 and I've had to rolll a patch before, and the next released patch would eliminate the problem & I could use the patch again.
Please note: there are malfunctions in the 20yr edition that make it in some cases unplayable. Is Nixxes aware of this. I have no clue. Is Nixxes going to patch 20yr edition game? IDK but we can only hope they do.

Hey guys thanks for all your help. Really appreciate it. Unfortunately nothing worked. I don't feel that I should even have to spend hours trying to get a game to work that I paid for. I returned it :P

Maybe i'll get it again in a few months when this problem is fixed - looks like a really cool game.

I have pretty much the same system as you and haven't had this bug. I don't remember anyone else having the problem either so I don't think it is something that Nixxes needs to fix, sounds more like the problem is your PC.

My advice would be to do a clean install of your OS, drivers and games to see if that helps but as you have refunded there isn't a lot of point now. Just bear it in mind for the future.
