Need help with Nvidia 3D vision stereoscopic settings.
Hi, can some of the stereoscopic 3D users explain their settings to make the game work?

I got all the necessary requirements hardware and software wise all updated to latest drivers (Win10).

Whenever I switch on the 3D option in game or in the pre-launch-menu the game switches resolutions back and forth and drops to 1fps.

I tried messing around with recommended settings for 3D including changing to DX11/DX12 but it won't work for me.

Would really appreciate some feedback!

Turn off DX12 check full screen and exclusive full screen set your resolution I run 1440 make sure your 3D says on and not side by side.If that dont work set your desktop resolution that you are running in the game. When the green nvidia message in the right corner pops up use ctrl alt ins to get rid of that. The newest drivers work good in 3D but dont work with Shadow of the tomb raider its a problem on the devs side.Get back to us and let us know whats going on.
Thanks for the reply, the way you described it is exactly the way I did it.
As soon as I turn on full 3D in game it drops to 1fps and changes between 3D and 2D at a fast pace. It got to be a game problem since drivers are up to date and I configured 3D in the Nvidia menu and it's working fine.

There is no problem with the game only SOTTR is having problems ROTTR and TR work just fine.If you need to go back to the 413 drivers but the new ones work.Just a question on your glasses have you hit the button on them so that they come on?Check the resolution again they are only setup for certain ones like 1920/1080 or 2560/1440 not all resolutions work with 3D. What moniter do you have?
I found many topics of other people having the same issue with the constant switching and 1fps lock but simply no solution to it. My last options are downgrading the driver and reinstalling the game and mess around with resolutions.

I got a BenQ XL2420T (120fps, 24") I played Metro and other games flawlessly in 3D so I do believe it's a software issue just with this specific game tbh.

I played this in 3D without issues using the FullScreen 3D 120Hz option available in-game.

If you can't find a solution, you might check over at Nvidia's GeForce forums, in the 3D Vision sub forum

To play other games in 3D, I use fixes from http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html
