Ancient Cistern Tomb

So, I've done the ancient cistern tomb and i realised after i pressed Q that i missed one box that is in the dome and when i got up to read the book i saw that the box is flooded and i went in to try and open it but couldn't. So I am asking you guys can you go back to that tomb later on in the game and have the whole tomb not flooded or i have to reload from the previous checkpoint ?

Note: Im going to stop with playing here just so i dont mess up other progress !

I don't recall any box that is 'flooded' there but all areas are accessible after finishing the main story...even Syria ....which is locked until you finish the end.

I have finished the entire game a few years back but i don't remember half of the tombs, lol i guessed 30% of the soviet installation map without having the maps looted

The only problem I recall about the 'ancient cistern' was that some people were saying that the raft would flip over and they couldn't get on it....
the other 'glitch' I remember was in that 'Red Mine'....where the piece of the track wouldn't spawn.

I know which Box they're talking about. it's easily missable. It's in the cisturn room where you have to flood the place to get to the top, it's the 2nd tomb you came across. Unflooding it however, I don't think it's possible. course I never tried so I can't say for sure.

I didn't see a way to "unflood" the area either.

I've done the whole tomb again and it turns out i wasted my time doing that because the box contained 2 mushrooms and wood ...

Ahh that's usually the case for me as well. The harder I work, the lesser the reward... or something like that.

Me too, but I need to have gotten everything- one of these days, I'll remember what's important and what's crafting materials. :)

Well it really would have hurt if that was a relic and i have to let it go because i can't unflood the damn thing lol. Better do it now than later on in the game 😂 or at least thats what im saying to myself hahah perfectionist here
