Stuck, can't get past,,,

The end of RESEARCH BASE, where Lara is in the water and comes up in the different pools.
I can't get past this section.
I keep getting killed after about 2 or 3 guys .
The first guy is easy.
Is it better to try and take everyone else into the water and kill them there also?
I try to jump out and shoot but not much luck.
Any tips?

wait next to a opening and when you get a chance , execute them with Y button, try do it when he is alone, not when there is another enemy close by, after you take one down , swim away fast and repeat at another opening,,when waiting to execute, stay well hidden so they never see you, hide 'under' the ice close to the edge and spam Y button so at the first chance possible you will execute him. when there is a couple left you could jump up and take them out. every enemy you kill, it gets easier, take your time and kill them one by one.

I'm still doing something wrong.
When I hide under the edge of the ice and wait it's always numerous bad guys, not just one,
and I can't figure out how to get in the correct position to attack.
If there is a guy close to the edge and I pop up and hit attack nothing happens, I stay in the water
with my head up and they shoot at me.
I am using keyboard and mouse, F is attack?
I can get the first guy, so I understand how this water takedown is supposed to work.
But after the first guy it's a group around the hole and I'm not making the transition from hiding to attack correctly.
Don't they ever split up?
This takes me forever to get even 3 guys, I go near a hole and wait, then too many show up, so I go to another hole and wait, then again too many guys show up.

When I'm swimming underwater there looks like hanging lights,,,they vibrate like crazy when I swim by them. Is that a glitch in the game or are they supposed to do that?

im using gamepad on seasoned raider difficulty,,when i did it ,sometimes there was another guy close by and sometimes this other guy even shot me but i swam away fast ,injured, ,i found myself swimming to all of the holes over n over again looking for a chance to execute..never wait with head out of water, they will probably see you before they even get close enough to execute them,, if you are injured too much ,you could jump out and quickly heal ,then jump back in,,it took me a few tries to complete this,,,wait under the ice at edge of hole ,under the water and look up at the nearby enemy, the execute icon will flash over his head even if they arent in clear view then the icon will dissappear , spam the execute key to execute him as soon as the icon appears ensuring you get him at the first possible chance.,, jump out & quick heal if need,,once you kill 3 or 4 its easy from then on. you can jump out, quick heal and jump back in without being seen cos theres alot of smoke.
