Red mine (Soviet installation)bug?. Can't create Molotov cocktails

Tldr:
I think I missed out somewhere where the game says 'you can now craft Molotovs for combat' but now can't access the Red Mine tomb challenge.



Hi there, wouldn't normally have to post but it's driving me mad.

Basically I have a suspicion I've bugged out the game in some way.

When Jacob asks you to meet him in the copper mill, the objective marker tells you to go the way of the red mine entrance.
As I didn't want to do that mission yet I explored more of the copper mill area. I ended up taking a weird back route where you grappling hook for the first time and ended up climbing really high up above the copper mill and ended up in the burn down firefight and then moved on to the next part of the game. I later came back after the big trinity fight and helping the villagers and now can't complete the red mine tomb. According to guides this is where you'd normally get the prompt to create a Molotov just before the big burn down at the copper mill, but I never did.
And now I'm trying to enter the red mine tomb challenge after coming back to finish off the area. But when I get to the burst water pipes with the crate of alcohol bottles, I just can't create any Molotovs. If anyone can suggest a work around or fix, or even a code to spawn a single Molotov, I'd really appreciate it. I love this game and it would set my OCD on fire (no pun intended) if I couldn't complete all the tombs.

I just bought the MORE EXPLOSIVE SHOTGUN SHELLS ability and blew that baby away.

All is well again

Still this should be looked into by the developers.

For the record, I still flipping love this game.

Oh some of the tombs (like the one with two carts) are buggy as hell. I love it too but the devs really should fix some of the more blatant and consistent bugs

try exiting the game completely and restarting...that usually fixes small 'glitches'...
DO NOT make a save game there because you'll just load the same 'glitch'
when the game reloads its autosave then go back to the mine and see if it's fixed.

NOTE: make manual save games from time to time(can always delete them)
in case of 'glitches' so you won't ave to go back too far in your progress..

just found a fix for this molotov thing, just remap your key tp your middle mouse button, the default setting seems to cause the 'bug'. Happened once in another game, remnant from ashes i thing, i cant ping the location or item, same problem
