jeez well so far ive died twice falling off things in the intro of the syrian tomb..
Having to restart from the beginning is already starting to grate haha
I'll try once more!
I see the problem with this difficulty now. I died shortly after the first combat scene due to debris falling on me too much or something. Have to restart from the beginning....is the first checkpoint near this area? Are checkpoints reasonably close together later in the game or is it all like this? It is worse than dark souls in this format!
I'll give it another go now, maybe i need a strong coffee and immerse myself in the adrenaline fuelled terror that must be escaping a collapsing tomb with mercenaries trying to kill me. Probably playing it too passively.
Well, be strong as your coffee !
As soon as you'll figure out, how do the game mechanics work, you'll have no issues to complete the game on Survivor difficulty.
While we're at it, I do highly recommend to use Spirit Weaver with Adrenaline, Strong Medicine, and such Perks.
Naturalist is a must though, just like Lightfoot is.
Extreme Survivor is not that hard actually. I think I got lucky and had very few restarts.
If you already are familiar with TR2013 mechanics, it's not really difficult. I'd say save it for a 2nd playthrough though, given it can get a bit annoying at times.
Endurance mode (in Expeditions menu) on the other hand...
