feck this im going for a refund.. im just being scammed here.

Blood Ties expansion is only VR enabled. Which can be accessed from entering Croft Manor in the main menu. Dx11 only.

You're not being scammed, you just didn't read the descriptions well enough.

to late for me as the game is refunded. It was not clear at all but thanks for the anwser my settings where dx12. i also didnt found a blood ties DLC available. This game should not be for sale in the VR store with an explicit warning that it only goes for 1 tiny expantion and not the full game. .

I do not feel that is neccesary at all. Also steam has no VR store, just a VR category.

I disagree. This is fraud straight up. Unfortunately it is too late for me (as per the return policies). It is NOT clear what the "Croft Manor" means. I assumed it was simply unlocked there and that the "mandatory" first level was simply to get the user used to the controls before unleashing them into the VR experience. As it turns out, the first level is to trick the potential purchasors into lapsing their first hour on Steam so they have no recourse to return it immediately when they realized what a half-assed and misleading VR experience this is. Unlocking it in the manor is intentionally tricking future users into being stuck with a product they didn't intend on buying.

To add to this, there are videos on youtube showing people playing the game in the VR headset, to add to the illusion that you should be able to play this in VR.

I too bought this game thinking it was the full game in VR. They DO NOT make it clear that only some dlc is VR

Oh please, it ain't fraud. The game was released back in 2015 and had no VR support at all. If you did your research, like anyone would, you would have known this. VR support came with the Blood Ties expansion in 2016.

Also, just because people are playing it on youtube in VR does not excuse you from doing research. If you did, you would have known there is software out there that tries to let you play non VR games in VR. Software like VORPX.

vorpx doesnt work and there support is useless. it says it has vr support it is misleading and a scam. look at alll these comments and online about the issue.

Well I did say software like vorpx, they're a few that actually work or people made it work.

its a great game though and the VR DLC is just a replica of her mansion and a lot of interesting items if you like the story, you should have read the description before buying it.... It says "Blood Ties in VR" and you want a refund on the entire game? Its giving every DLC+Season pass+VR DLC for 20$ right now and you think this is a scam?
